What Even Was Linear Time? In-Person

Specifically for students researching, writing, and/or thinking about publishing and it's different forms:

This 90 minute workshop introduces and uses Twine, a text-based, interactive digital tool to think about non-linear story telling, hyper-text, and alternatives to traditional research and scholarship. Participants will start by drawing some interesting networks, then think about how to translate that into writing, playing with, and automating stories or other thoughts.  By doing so, we'll discover how creating non-linear interactive work changes what you research, and how you present and experience information and knowledge.

(60 minutes instructional, 30 min individual work/prototyping/testing)
