Unknown Pleasures: Playlists and Love Songs from the Public Domain In-Person
Pregame for Valentine's Day in this workshop on playlists and the the public domain. We want to think about how a mix comes to be, and how it's changed with different media cultures, and the curatorial choices in the making of a mix. How do desired mood and knowledge interplay when you're trying to show someone you feel a certain way?
After designing a playlist, we'll burn to CDs and make cover art.
