Introduction to Voyant and Text Analysis In-Person
This hands-on workshop will provide an introduction to digital humanities style text-analysis using Voyant.
In this workshop we'll cover
- "Distance Reading" as method
- Creating a machine ready corpus of documents
- Choosing stop words and white lists
- Choosing visualization and analysis tools for frequency, distribution, and correlation
