Library Lab: Choosing Tools for Curiosity In-Person

In the age of the internet, information has never been more abundant, or harder to sift through. Choosing a research tool and orienting yourself in an information landscape can be confusing, especially when there are so many to choose from! In this workshop we will explore different tools for information gathering according to need and interest. Databases are just one of the many ways to find what you need to know. We will play around with some more traditional library databases, and then move on to exploring weird and niche databases according to individual interest. Attendees will write a yelp review of their favorite weird database that can be shared with the wider community.
