Fan Zine Workshop In-Person
Come explore the genre of fan zine where creators use zines to share information about topics they are passionate about. Similar to the literary genre of fan fiction, fan zines can include many forms of creative expression including collage, illustration, poetry, and more! This workshop will start with a brief exploration of examples of fan zines from the Williams Libraries circulating zine collection, followed by an hour of zine making where attendees can get to work on their own fan zine. All zines and zine making supplies are provided, but zinesters are invited to bring work in progress to continue/share.
